Above & Beyond – Crash

Posted by

Celebrating their twentieth anniversary this year, London’s Above & Beyond unveil another hard-hitting club instrumental: ‘Crash’.

Referred to as the ‘20 Years ID’ by tune trainspotters in our label community, ‘Crash’ was one of six Above & Beyond originals heard on their Anjunabeats Volume 15 compilation, which was released in July of this year.

The track was created just as the pandemic took hold, ready for summer festival sets that never eventuated. ‘Crash’ was finally given its long awaited live debut in the band’s Group Therapy 400 livestream. The show was recorded on the River Thames, London in late September of this year, just a hop, skip and a jump from the trio’s recording studio in Bermondsey.

‘Crash’ is out now on Anjunabeats. Live dates: https://aboveandbeyond.nu/tour Website: https://aboveandbeyond.nu Facebook: https://facebook.com/aboveandbeyond Twitter: https://twitter.com/aboveandbeyond Instagram: https://instagram.com/aboveandbeyond #AboveandBeyond #Crash #Anjunabeats

Above & Beyond pres. Tranquility Base – Oceanic (Jerome Isma-Ae Remix)

No stranger to the art of the remix, German producer Jerome Isma-Ae returns to Anjunabeats with an energetic rework of Above & Beyond pres. Tranquility Base ‘Oceanic’, which featured on Anjunabeats Volume 15 earlier this year.

A trance and progressive veteran, Jerome topped the trance charts in 2013 with ‘Under My Skin’, produced in collaboration with ilan Bluestone.

Jerome has contributed remixes of Above & Beyond, BT & ilan Bluestone and Boom Jinx to Anjunabeats over the past decade, and released ‘No Time To Wait’ (with Milkwish) earlier this summer.

As we celebrate 20 Years Of Anjunabeats in 2020, we’re very pleased to share Jerome’s update of this classic Tranquility Base record.
