Stockholm-based DJ and producer MOLØ makes her Anjunadeep EP debut with her four-track ‘Hymn EP’.
Following up on her remix of Eli & Fur’s ‘Wild Skies’ from earlier in the year, MOLØ has been releasing on Jeremy Olander’s label Vivrant, Moscoman’s Disco Halal and Marc Romboy’s Systematic. She’s resident at Vivrant’s global showcase events and is coming off shows with Amê, Dixon as well as her second appearance at Anjunadeep Explorations.
Opening the EP is ‘Ales’, a downtempo electronic track that incorporates intricate rhythms with ambient textures. ‘Alden’ features swelling strings and breakbeat drums whilst title-track ‘Hymn’ leads with echoing synths. Blending cinematic pads and percussive laden grooves, MOLØ rounds off the EP with ‘Uman’.
